As VINNews pointed out, the Eirev Rav is here, alive and well in Williamsburg.
Twelve young shnecks – not 1, not 2, but 12 – gathered ’round on Wallabout Avenue of Williamsburg to protest against Rav Aharon Leib Shteinman Shlita, Rosh Yeshiva in Ponevech, calling him “Amalek,” “Rasha MeRusha,” “Yimach Shmo,” etc. This is only because Rav Shteinman supports the State of Israel from a Torah perspective.
However, that author goes too far and calls them a bunch of Levi Aarons. They’re not chopping children to pieces, they’re just wasting time. But whatever.
We know that it’s forbidden to denigrate Torah scholars. Nevertheless these guys seem that it’s fit to do so as it increases publicity. Never mind that this occurred literally a few days after Tisha B’Av.
I personally am a big believer in having Kosher alternatives for everything. Those that ban willy-nilly without providing Kosher alternatives, in my opinion, are trouble makers. Those that look at the Kosher alternatives presented but say that it’s not good enough, are bigger trouble makers.
Guys, go get a job! Go get a life!
