In an interview, Ben-Haim said that when she takes a photograph of someone reading she sees “people who are contemplating description of new possibilities. In this way, every book says that its reader is simply great.”
Given the number of Orthodox Jews that take the subway every day, this isn’t their first appearance on the photo blog either. I myself first saw this picture on Pinterest.
