“Seeing” the Sounds: The Secret of the Hebrew (Lashon Hakodesh) Letters Shown Via a Scientific Technique by Rabbi Yaakov Guggenheim

Are you ready for this? In this video, Rabbi Yaakov Guggenheim is showing how the Jews were able to literally “see the sounds” through sound waves utilizing a scientific technique that factors in sound-sight frequency. This is a must-see even if you don’t understand Hebrew as it’s probably one of the hardest evidences one has in the Torah and letters being divine.

The Talmud Bavli and Yerushalmi debate which script was used: Ktav Ivri (Paleo-Hebrew) or Ktav Ashuri (Assyrian Hebrew) since the “magic floating letter” was either a Mem-Sofit (Ktav Ashuri) or the ‘Ayin (which looks like an “O” in Paleo-Hebrew). This just scratches the surface as in reality over a dozen Hebrew/Semitic scripts were used over the past few millenia, which is actually best covered in one of a series of books called “Torah Shleimah” by R’ Menachem Kasher ZT”L.

Interestingly, 17 of the 22 letters were able to be shown, what with Hebrew having evolved as other languages. Also, the only “Gimmel” to show as a sound wave was the Yemenite Gjimmel. Apparently, the letters sound best when doing the Yemenite pronunciation. Hmmm…

I’m not saying that one should change his/her Mesorah based on sound waves, I’m just saying.

I was initially exposed to this phenomenon from Rabbi Zamir Cohen‘s English-translation book “The Coming Revolution.” I strongly recommend getting/reading it as it’s one of those “I HAVE TOย get it” kinds of books.

The software CD to play with is available by contacting the author at yakovgug@zahav.net.il for $20. I’m currently working on getting a hold of it despite the language barrier and mail time ๐Ÿ™‚
