Yesterday Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper addressed the Israeli Knesset. For what amounted to close to a half hour, Mr. Harper stated his stance to unequivocally support the State of Israel no matter the cost. He mentioned how easy it would be to “live along and get along” but he supports Israel simply because “it’s the right thing to do.” To which I say more power to him.
He also said it straight: people use Israel today as an excuse so they don’t have to say “Jews.” Many people say they hate Israel but tolerate Jews. In the past, before there was a state, people just plain hated Jews.
There were two Arabs that heckled Stephen Harper while he spoke (Bibi earlier as well), and then stormed out. They were shouting something in Arabic, then stormed out of there. Good riddance.
This is what a good friend of the Jews is.
