When the head of the Sanhedrin, Shimi ben Geira, threw stones and cursed King Dovid in the most derogatory fashion, whose side would you have taken? When the great King Shaul chased after Dovid accusing him of treason, on whose side would you have been? When the great tzaddik of Vilna, the Villna Gaon, proclaimed the excommunication of Hassidim, on whose side would you have been? When Ravashka the greatest rosh yeshivah in ancient times argued with king Chiskiyahu, on whose side would you have been? When many gedolei yisroel supported Shapsi Tzvi as being the Moshiach on whose side would you have been? When the great Rabbi Yaakov Emden accused the famed Rabbi Yonasan Eibshitz of being a follower of Shabtai Tzvi, would you have believed his accusations?

Even though these accusations where made by the greatest Torah leaders of their time, they turned out to be false and incorrect.
